Privacy Policy
1. Audio processing
Volume boost and tone shaping run locally in your browser tab. XCoda does not receive, store, or transmit your audio, video, or media streams.
2. Settings storage
Audio preferences such as volume, sound mode, and per-site settings are stored locally with Chrome storage on your device. XCoda may read the current website domain to apply a saved setting, but does not send browsing history or visited website data to XCoda servers.
3. Optional account and profile
Signing in is optional. When you sign in, XCoda sends your email address, account identifier, and temporary authentication data to Supabase and the XCoda backend to provide login, account, and Pro features. Temporary authentication data is kept in Chrome session storage, not persistent local storage. Optional profile details you choose to save, such as display name, bio, or avatar URL, are stored with your account.
4. Payments and Pro access
Checkout uses PayPal or Razorpay. Fenwick Labs does not receive or store your complete card or bank details. XCoda stores the billing email, payment provider, order reference, selected plan, payment status, and access dates needed to confirm purchases and provide Pro.
5. Analytics and advertising
XCoda does not use Google Analytics or other analytics services to track extension usage. We do not sell personal information or use browsing activity, audio, or media content for advertising or tracking.
6. Location and listening activity
XCoda does not collect or transmit country, region, geolocation, listening history, or listening-time data. XCoda has no leaderboard functionality.
7. Service providers
XCoda uses Google for optional sign-in, Supabase for account and plan services, and PayPal or Razorpay for payments. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
8. Retention and deletion
Local preferences remain until you clear extension data or uninstall XCoda. Account and purchase records are retained as needed to provide Pro, prevent payment fraud, and meet legal obligations. To request account deletion or privacy help, contact us.
